UNCG is part of a consortium of colleges and universities in the Greensboro area who work together to offer ROTC. Both Army and Air Force ROTC programs are available.
ARMY ROTC
The Army ROTC program is offered at The North Carolina A&T State University Army ROTC program, commonly referred to as the Aggie Battalion. The ROTC program is one of the finest leadership courses anyone can be a part of.
AIR FORCE ROTC
The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is an educational program designed to provide theoretical and applied leadership experience to become an Air Force Officer, while completing your bachelor’s degree. Air Force ROTC is the largest and oldest source of commissioned officers for the Air Force. The organization’s mission is to develop leaders of character for tomorrow’s Air Force.
